[ You enter the Nightclub. The room is dark, lit by roving colorful spotlights in hypnotic patterns and occasional strobe effects. The darkness, how crowded it is, and the relentless beat of the music almost make it feel claustrophobic, but thereβs also an electric, alluring sort of energy running through the whole place.
The DJ, across the dance floor, wears an ornate masquerade mask that feels like it should be in some metallic filigree but is instead done in neon purple. Or was it orange? Every time you look back, the room seems to shift and swirl around you, tooβ¦
Strange—there's a familiar white-haired person here, it seems? He's swiftly walking east, likely right toward you, to go for the door, looking a little pale. ]
[ huffs, but he does step forward, walking straight to the landing. are either of them going to jump him or will they make it to the presidential suite largely intact, save for the psychic damage from elevator music and 3 mutually antagonistic people being crammed in a small place ]
[ You enter the Presidential Suite. It sprawls over the floor and upwards, framed with windows that stretch into a dome so on all sides youβre surrounded by dizzying lights. The bright neon of Pythiaβs city doesnβt dim the stars above at all, and they never stay still. Atop the hotel, you might get a rush of power, looking down at all those who couldnβt afford to stay here, but the stars alive above are a constant reminderβstand up as tall as you like, thereβs still more looking down on you. Strong resin columns filled with bioluminescent creatures hold up the great glass domeβjellyfish, and humanoid bodies that end in scaled tails drift in their narrow confines and form an eerie symmetry with your situation, both of you under glass for the pleasure of othersβ observation. Blank neon eyes stare at you, their mouths laughing with malice or shaping malicious words or gape, empty of anything to say at all.
Two hemispheres of couches form twin moons in a conversation pit in the front room of the suite, and the end-tables are laden with party favors from the bottles on top and plastic bags full of powders and herbs, and lighters and other accessories inside. A menu nearby lists prices, charged by either the bottle or gram, depending. Beyond that, the backroom holds the suiteβs bedroom, the bed large enough to accommodate a party.

You abused my unitmate's body in exchange for promise of my safety—naturally I would have no desire to continue conversation with you. You need not chase, yet you did, and more than that, you confessed that your promise to my unitmate was nothing but a falsehood—I only acted in self-defense.
[ biting in every word, but he pauses, easing his tone for lahabrea at least ]
If you need an eye for an eye, you have already received it in the cruelties he has performed. I, for one, intend to stay far away from this man—I seek no harm for him, but neither do I intend to hold anything but contempt for him, for his words and for his deeds.
