[ gesturing for him to come closer, blue vial uncorked and in hand but not drunk yet ]

[ he wants to hear Lucifel rambling honestly, stepping closer though ]

he doesn't swallow it yet, but he does bring his hand up to cover his mouth anyway as though he already has ]

[ gently! he reaches up to try to pry that hand away ]

Why not make our last kiss something meaningful?

letting him pry that hand away but he only uses his other hand to cover his mouth ]

fine. fine, he'll be leaning down to kiss the back of his hand. ]

[ either using his other hand—provided absinthe has released it—to keep him down, or otherwise he's flipping the hand absinthe's kissing as he leans down to hold him by the jaw. not tightly, just long enough for him to swallow the contents of the blue vial and then tip his head up to kiss absinthe on the forehead ]

[ he did keep a hold on his hand as he kissed him so he's quite easily pulled into that -- a bit disappointed he doesn't get to hear Lucifel ramble but oh well! it's not unexpected Lucifel would try to avoid that.

he does chuckle at the kiss and pulls back after a moment. ]

[ stepping back too, letting go of him ]

I must ask, though—just what was your "role" in that game?

Something akin to an embittered salaryman, who believed that the only way he could progress was to give favors unto others -- and expect them in turn.

I'm sure you're disinclined to believe me. But most of my words during that game were those of my "role". To view others as filth, to only view Baritones as worthy of my time ...

It was almost to an embarrassing degree.
