I'm personally a fan of winning.

[ he does stop, though, hearing and seeing him; turning to address him more properly. ]

I certainly wouldn't mind winning, but I'm afraid I'm in no state to overexert myself, so the most I can do is the bare minimum.

Well I do not mind accommodating for that. If you do not mind a kiss from me, that is.

[eyes him, one eyebrow quirked]

Not feeling hungry, I hope?

[innerdaemons]

Not this time around, no! I'm quite stocked up from last game.

[selfpreservationist]

... I suppose there's no harm in it.

[sits up]

Come, sit with me.

[innerdaemons]

[ he steps over to sit down beside him, gesturing to Raven's vial. ]

Would you like to drink beforehand?

[selfpreservationist]

If I'm going to participate properly, I should. What about you?

[innerdaemons]

But of course.

[ he lifts the (red) vial he's holding before downing it ]

[selfpreservationist]

[red it is. he does the same]

... that's a pleasant taste.

[innerdaemons]

It is, though not half as pleasant as you.

[ ... a beat. ]

Oh dear.

[selfpreservationist]

[--sputters for a moment, chuckling reflexively just out of surprise]

Really, you have me beat by a wide margin.

[ah, hmm]

You flatter me! I could hardly hope to measure up to you.

[ This Is Silly.

it's definitely not the worst effect though and even though he seems a bit exasperated there's a smile on his lips as he leans closer, and if Raven doesn't try to pull away he'll try to kiss him. ]

[raven's likewise amused by how silly this is, and he leans into the kiss. it's not especially heated, but he's not being very chaste either, exploring absinthe's mouth leisurely]

[innerdaemons]

[ he doesn't seem to mind, parting his mouth for that, a hand going up to Raven's hair -- though the hold is gentle, like he's trying not to remind him of the hair-grabbing from the game. ]

[there's a moment of hesitating, because that's exactly what raven was reminded of--but it passes, and he tilts his head into the touch as he teases at absinthe's tongue with his own]

[innerdaemons]

[ he slides his fingers further through his hair, again not too rough -- tipping his head as he keeps in the kiss. this is probably more than what's strictly necessary for the sake of the game but who's going to stop him from having a good time! ]

[this is definitely more than he anticipated but it's... good. it feels good, it feels like he's taming absinthe in a way, making him less a source of fear, and that gives him a thrill. he curls his fingers in absinthe's shirt and holds on as he deepens the kiss further]

[ experimentally -- one hand goes to Raven's back, encouraging him closer, and the grip in his hair tightens some but still not enough to be truly painful. there's no teeth in the kiss either as much as he's briefly tempted to bite, pliant, letting Raven take the lead. ]

[his fingers "walk" up absinthe's chest to the collar of his shirt, toying with it, and he breaks the kiss to take a breath]

... hah.

[ he breaks the kiss but doesn't pull back much, catching his breath himself with an amused hum ]

[raven seems good with staying close as well, licking his lips]

Mm. It's something of a relief, I suppose!

Others have been far less... Receptive, to my attempts at reconciliation.
