[Thank you for sparing them both, Absinthe. It's incredibly frustrating only being able to say something false. Especially when it's so plainly false as Vergil of all people not wanting to win at all costs.
He returns the kiss, and only takes a moment to break away to knock back another potion before going in again. Might as well not even bother with letting the effects happen. A good thing too, since it was blue, he only narrowly avoids starting to run his mouth.]

though when he does start to speak it's quickly muffled into the third kiss and even in the midst of that he's reaching back for another vial. ]
[It's just efficient! He doesn't really notice that Absinthe doesn't shut up normally, maybe someday he'll figure it out. Today is not the day though, because they don't get a chance, and he's going for another too, getting his hand on a green one. Which compels him to take the back of Absinthe's head to keep him there.
The problem with just knocking them back in quick succession is it gets more heated than he intends...]
[ well the hand in his hair makes it difficult for him to take a drink from the vial he's holding in his own hands but he doesn't protest, either, instead reaching to grab Vergil's collar of his own accord and keep him held in the kiss himself.
[Good, that's exactly what he intended to do actually. Because if he can get through all his vials while skipping one of Absinthe's, he'll have a slight edge on his score. This may be make outs now but it's also still competitive.
He's still going for another after a moment though, not forgetting about the objective here even though this is more exciting than it should be. He has to fumble for the vials blindly though, especially with one hand occupied with curling in Absinthe's hair.
When he needs to drink, he yanks Absinthe's head back rather than pulling back himself.]
[ when his head is yanked back again he has to breathe, and truthfully it's exciting for him too - - which is why he's not arguing about being manhandled, or the edge Vergil is getting on him.
