It's quite interesting how to try to freshen up these games when it's all varieties on a similar routine, is it not? Perhaps it is surprise that you have any love left for me. Or is this the "love" you've discussed with me before? A sort of generalized, meaningless thing, where no matter how much I hurt you you will still love me?
I'm quite touched if that is the case! As monstrous and terrible as I am there are not many that would choose to love me. Or is it because of my monstrosity you feel that I must be loved? Is is a foolish sense of pity, perhaps, that cause you to feel that way?
What a noble sentiment. Even after what you have recalled has your opinion on that remained unchanged? Do you believe I am a man capable of - - worthy of being saved?
