[ well! that actually surprises him -- he was expecting a less enthusiastic reaction out of a kiss from him

so rather than pulling back he stays in the kiss, keeping leaned down for him, one hand going up to cup the back of his head ]

[ it's the green that had him seeking his touch, but now that he's here he's certain, still—that it's fine, that he's fine,

and moreover who is he to deny being consumed—no, he could not allow absinthe to partake of him, but a little taste like this is fine.

lingering like this for a moment, as though to savor the kiss—as though to show that he can savor it, that it doesn't bother him to be this dangerously close

be careful not to pet. ]

[ he does not pet! though he can't help but want to push. give an inch and he'll take a mile, as Lucifel and Vergil have already noticed about him. since they're already this far -- well, what's the harm in a little more ... ?

so he parts his mouth, grip tightening some on his hair, as if asking for entrance. ]

[ oh—what a threat from behind, and such a threat from the front; just remembering the strength behind absinthe's fingers, the teeth behind his lips, has lucifel's throat closing,

and he yields, for who is he to deny being consumed, his lips parting for the other easily, a soft sound escaping through his nose ]

[innerdaemons]

[ it's familiar and it's quite welcome, to have Lucifel yield so for him, to have him almost-pliant under his fingers. he takes that as permission to deepen the kiss; the smell and taste of rot and alcohol on his lips likely all-too familiar to Lucifel as well as those fingers card through his hair. ]

[ it's certainly unpleasant, but all he can think about is

teeth

and how close they are, how easily he could bite—and he shouldn't let him, and he won't let him, but he dares to press his tongue with the deeper kiss, running it against his front teeth, defiant to none but himself in doing so ]

[ there's a hum, something soft and interested in the back of his throat - - he's tempted briefly to bite but it passes. he's behaving, after all, even if technically this isn't behaving at all.

in turn his own tongue presses into Lucifel's, the kiss almost sickeningly sweet, slow paved - - indulgent, even. ]

[ how strange—to receive such a gentle kiss from him, to taste his rot and alcohol so thoroughly without some form of pain appended . . . surely it's trickery, or perhaps he's managed to somehow demonstrate that he won't be ruled by fear and this is the result; his thoughts grow slow, sluggish, for the kiss has him lightheaded, the indulgence dizzying,

—when was the last time he took a breath? the thought has him realizing belatedly this dizziness might not come from absinthe at all, but his own forgetfulness; in the end he's the first to pull away, reluctant as he is to be the first to give in, for the sake of catching his breath, though he remains close even still, arms still wrapped around absinthe's neck ]

[ he's laughing quiet and husky as Lucifel pulls away and he stays close himself, licking his own saliva-slick lips with a swipe of his tongue. ]

I almost feel... That I should ask again - if you missed me.

[sancrimony]

. . . It would be good if you didn't think so deeply on it—I would hate for you to be disappointed, Absinthe-san.

[ finally letting go of him, but like, casual like, making clear motions to pick up another vial ]

[innerdaemons]

I doubt that's truly a concern of yours.

[ well that's convenient as he's also aiming to pick up another. ]

Well, I will admit I won't lose sleep over it.

[ randomizer says orange so rip in pieces ]

so he'll be moving his hand back up to Lucifel's hair I suppose, with a laugh. ]
